What We Do
Delta Analytics has two parallel goals. We bridge the skill gap faced by non-profits all over the world by providing free data services. Secondly, we build technical capacity in communities around the world by providing trainings to help democratize access to machine learning tools.
1) Bridging the skill gap
We pair professional data scientists, analysts and software engineers in the Bay Area with non-profits all over the world. Our data fellows are paired with non-profit grant recipients for 6 months to leverage data to drive impact.
If you are a non-profit, let us assess your data needs. We will will be actively recruiting for our next grant recipient class in July. Learn more about our service grants for non-profits here or learn more about our application process. If you are unsure about what your non-profit needs, please contact us and we will be in touch to discuss how we can help.
2) Building local capacity
We believe that data is powerful, and that anybody should be able to harness it for change. This summer, we are building and teaching an accessible introduction to machine learning for students passionate about the power of data to do good. Our team of Delta teaching fellows are partnering with Moringa Schools and Brave Academy in Nairobi, Kenya to work with passionate students from across Africa excited about the power of data to do good. We will be using data from Kiva and making all our materials free on our GitHub at the end of the summer.
